Edga Melan

Edga Melan is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the General Manager of Group Engineering at Brandix since June 2024. Prior to this role, Edga held the position of General Manager of Engineering & Sustainability at Teejay Lanka PLC from February 2019 to May 2024 and was the Manager of Engineering & Sustainability at Trischel Fabric Pvt. Ltd. from July 2018 to January 2019. Edga's extensive background includes engineering management roles at Textprint Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and Goodhope Holdings, where responsibilities ranged from fleet management to setting up manufacturing processes. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, a Certified Management Accounting degree from the Academy of Finance in Australia, a Diploma in Project Management from the National University of Singapore, and a B.Sc.
