Walmir Soller

Walmir Soller has extensive experience in the petrochemical industry, currently serving as Vice President for Olefins/Polyolefins Europe and Asia at Braskem since August 2001. This role includes global leadership for Green Polyethylene and Industrial Polypropylene sites in Germany, as well as overseeing polymer and chemical trading outside the Americas. Previous positions at Braskem include Polypropylene Business Director, New Business Director for Basic Petrochemicals, and Exports Director for Polyolefins, among others. Prior to joining Braskem, Walmir Soller worked at DuPont as Regional Business Manager for Packaging and Industrial Polymers and held various roles at Polialden-Ciquine Petroquimica and Unipar. Walmir Soller holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and has completed executive education programs at prestigious institutions such as The Wharton School, Harvard Business School, and INSEAD.
