Born in 1959, she graduated in Economics in 1983 at the Università Cattolica of Milan. She started her professional life at Henkel Italians reaching the position of Product Manager Perlana and Dixan.
From 1990 up to 1997 she worked as Marketing Manager first and then as Marketing and Sales Directors at Nuova Forneria, a joint-venture among SME Group, Barilla and Ferrero (dealing in food and snacks market).
In 1997 she entered the Philips group: at the beginning in Philips Lighting as Manager Consumer Lamps and Batteries, establishing a new organization to develop the penetration of Philips in the Italian market (lamps and batteries); thereafter, she was appointed General Manager of Philips DAP Italy. In 2008 she entered Philips Consumer Lifestyle, where she took the position of Deputy General Manager and, from October 2008, of General Manager responsible for the overall commercial business (small domestic appliances, Consumer electronics), with the specific task to complete the integration of two former organization.
From May 2012 she took the position of Chairman and Managing Director Cluster Italy of Electrolux Major and Small Appliances and International, and from January 2021 has been appointed Chairman of Electrolux Italia Spa, the Italian holding.
President of Confindustria Applia Italy from June 200ó to June 2021.
