Derek Rosenfeld

Derek Rosenfeld is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media strategy and digital communications. Currently serving as a Senior Communications and Media Strategist at the Brennan Center for Justice since October 2018, Derek leads rapid response initiatives and collaborates with various programs and fellows. Prior roles include Communications & Media Strategist at the same organization, overseeing media strategies for key programs related to voting rights, justice, and fair courts. Derek's earlier experience includes a managerial position in social media and media relations at the Drug Policy Alliance, where responsibilities included directing social media strategy and managing website content. Derek began the professional journey as a Constituent Liaison intern for NYC Council Member Stephen Levin. Educational background includes a degree from the University at Buffalo, completed in 2009.
