Megan Penney

Megan Penney is an experienced project manager currently working at the Brennan Center for Justice since March 2017, where roles have included Special Projects Coordinator and Operations Coordinator. As the owner and founder of Worth Every Penney LLC since January 2022, Megan focuses on dog rescue and consultancy for new rescue organizations. In addition, Megan has been a Steering Committee Member for Foster Dogs Incorporated since September 2013, coordinating rescue partner relations and event planning. Previous volunteer experiences include serving as Foster Coordinator for Friends With Four Paws and working in various roles in animal rescue and advocacy. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven.
