Lye Yit Tho

Lye Yit Tho is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in design and engineering within the data center industry across the Asia-Pacific region. Currently serving as the Vice President of Design at Bridge Data Centres since August 2021, Lye provides leadership in creating sustainable and reliable data centers. Previously, Lye held roles at Microsoft as an MEP Manager and Senior Electrical Engineer, overseeing datacenter engineering and design. Lye's career also includes significant contributions at CBRE as a Global Engineering Program Manager and Operations Director, as well as key positions at Thomson Reuters, focusing on IT estate management and critical services engineering. Lye’s expertise is further complemented by earlier roles at Jones Lang LaSalle, RYB ENGINEERING PTE LTD, DSCO Group Pte Ltd, and Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn Bhd, showcasing a strong foundation in electrical engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Oklahoma.
