Dr. Denise Bailey Clark has a diverse range of experience in human resources and leadership development. Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, is currently working as the Senior Vice President, People Operations & Partner at Bridge Philanthropic Consulting, LLC. In 2018, Dr. Clark founded Bailey Clark HR Consulting LLC, where they serve as CEO & Executive HR DEI Consultant/Executive Coach.
Prior to these roles, Dr. Clark held several positions in various organizations. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at the American Nurses Association as the Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development. During this time, they played a key role in the cultural transformation of the organization and implemented leadership programs.
Before that, Dr. Clark worked at SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) as the Director of Human Resource Standards. Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, led the development of national and international HR standards in collaboration with industry experts and taskforce members. Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, also served as the Assistant Chair of the US TAG for TC 260 Human Resource Management.
Dr. Clark also has experience in higher education, serving as the Associate Vice President of Human Resources at the College of Southern Maryland from 2008 to 2014. Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, was responsible for advising on HR and diversity issues and managing organizational development programs. Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, also held the position of Executive Director of Diversity at the college from 2006 to 2008.
Earlier in their career, Dr. Clark worked at PhRMA as the Director of Human Resources and at Lockheed Martin as the Director of Human Resources, where they managed the HR department and implemented strategic plans for hiring and workforce planning.
Dr. Clark started their career in the healthcare industry at Kaiser Permanente, where they served as the Director of Diversity Programs and EEO Coordinator. Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, developed and implemented diversity initiatives and provided training on topics such as affirmative action and equal employment.

Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, DM, SHRM-SCP, ACC has a diverse education background. Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, received their Executive Coach Certification from the Howard University School of Business in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctorate of Management, D.M., in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, also holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Development from Bowie State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology from Towson University.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Dr. Clark has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation, which they obtained in April 2022. Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, also holds a Group Coaching Certificate from BetterUp, obtained in June 2021.
