Dr. Clark started their career in the healthcare industry at Kaiser Permanente, where they served as the Director of Diversity Programs and EEO Coordinator. Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, developed and implemented diversity initiatives and provided training on topics such as affirmative action and equal employment.

Prior to that, they obtained a Doctorate of Management, D.M., in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Dr. Denise Bailey Clark, also holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Development from Bowie State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology from Towson University.
