Bridges for Enterprise
Jordan Wolken is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in impact finance and social entrepreneurship. Currently serving as Associate in Impact Intelligence & Education at Roots of Impact since August 2022, Jordan has also been the Global President & Trustee of Bridges for Enterprise since April 2017 and founded its New York Chapter in 2018, significantly contributing to the pro bono advisory services offered to early-stage social enterprises in developing countries. As a member of the A&A Collective and former LIVC Venture Fellow at Dream VC, Jordan is actively engaged in fostering the African investment ecosystem. Previous roles include Project Consultant at EcoVadis, Venture Associate Fellow at Sherpa Ventures, Africa Center Intern at the Atlantic Council, and various academic positions at NYU. Jordan holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability and Social Innovation from HEC Paris and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Political Economy from NYU Stern School of Business.

Bridges for Enterprise (BfE) empowers early-stage social entrepreneurs to scale their ventures and expand their impact. Founded in 2015, we are a UK-registered charity home to a global community of purpose-driven professionals and students that provide pro-bono advisory services to social innovators in the developing world. Through our flagship multi-stage Incubation Programme, we support early-stage businesses with existing revenue and a clear mission to create social impact for their beneficiaries. Our high-quality advisory services are free of charge — and always will be — as we don’t believe that money should ever be a barrier for social entrepreneurs to receive additional support in scaling their ventures. Our work has helped empower over 150 early-stage startups from 30+ different countries in Asia, Latin America, and Africa with the goal of making them investor-ready.
