Ron Rock has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ron started their career at Roadnet Technologies/UPS in 1988 as a Sr. Software Engineer before moving to RDA Corporation in 1992. At RDA Corporation, they served as a Program Director, responsible for managing the delivery of professional services and the growth of key personnel. In 2006, Ron joined SM Consulting as the Director of Application Services, overseeing a staff of consultants and providing custom application development for clients. Ron then worked at Educate Online, Inc. as the VP of Software Development before joining basys, LLC in 2009. At basys, LLC, Ron held various leadership positions including Vice President of Product Development, Vice President of Technology, and currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer. In their current role, they are responsible for building new web-enabled products and enhancing the core benefits administration system.

Ron Rock attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Following this, they pursued further education at Loyola University Maryland from 1988 to 1992, obtaining a Master's degree in Engineering Sciences with a focus on Computer Science.
