Matthew Singer currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Innovation Capital at BlackRock, focusing on customized growth equity solutions for mid-to-later stage private companies across technology and healthcare sectors. Since December 2021, Matthew has also taken on various board-related roles, including Board Member at Bright Machines and Board Observer positions at RapidSOS, HawkEye 360, Aiven, JumpCloud, Versa Networks, Deep Instinct, and Zero Mass Water. Prior to BlackRock, Matthew was the Head of Growth Capital Solutions at Goldman Sachs Asset Management from October 2017 to October 2021, where responsibilities included originating and executing private debt and equity transactions. Matthew holds an MBA in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in International Politics and Security Studies from Georgetown University.
