Jeremy Taylor is an accomplished IT and data professional with extensive experience across multiple managerial roles. Currently serving as Head of IT and Data at Brighter Places since August 2024, Taylor previously held significant positions at Claranet, including Head of Customer Lifecycle and Service Development Manager, where transformational change and leadership development were key focuses. Prior experience at Star Technology Services Ltd included managing core services and customer support, overseeing teams responsible for network security and service desk operations for thousands of customers. Early career roles included leadership in desktop support at Newton Investment Management and Greig Middleton & Co. Ltd. Taylor is well-versed in ITIL process implementation, business process analysis, and service management practices. Education was completed at the University of Essex.

Welcome to Brighter Places! We are a new housing association for Bristol and surrounding areas created following the merger of United Communities and Solon South West on 1 April 2021. We manage 3,300 homes and serve more than 8,100 residents, and we have ambitious plans for our future.
