Crystal Tolbert

Crystal Tolbert has extensive experience in technology delivery and management, currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Leader of Financial Information Systems at Brighthouse Financial since April 2017. In this role, Crystal oversees the delivery and maintenance of technologies related to HR, Tax, Compliance, Legal, and Risk, and has designed a technology change methodology focused on resource and risk management. Prior roles at Brighthouse include Sr. Director of Actuarial Technology Delivery and Director of Technology Delivery for both the Actuarial and the Office of Corporate Secretary. At MetLife, Crystal held the position of Manager for Software Development and Sr. Business Systems Analyst, where responsibilities included managing technology solutions roadmaps and improving business processes. Earlier, Crystal worked at Family Dollar in various managerial and analytical roles, focusing on procurement systems and supply chain processes. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Management and Communication from Wingate University and an Associate of Arts from South Piedmont Community College.
