Michelle Zuelch

Michelle Zuelch, PhD, MS, RD, currently serves as an Associate Scientist in Medical & Scientific Affairs at Brightseed, a position held since March 2025. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at the University of California, Davis, from September 2017 to March 2025, where responsibilities included contributions to the Mars Edge Core Laboratory. Michelle has also worked as a graduate research assistant and teaching assistant in various nutrition courses during her academic tenure at UC Davis and the University of Delaware. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Nutritional Biology from the University of California, Davis, attained in December 2023, a Master’s in Human Nutrition from the University of Delaware, and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the same institution. Additionally, Michelle gained practical experience through dietetic internships involving clinical, community, and foodservice rotations.
