Deniz Ayaz's work experience starts with an internship in the media department of İKSV in 2010. They contributed to the creation of a corporate catalog and organized design files. In 2012, they worked as a design intern at VIBE Media | Access Network before becoming a freelance junior art director at Merkley + Partners. In the same year, they also started working at Brooklyn Arts Council as a graphic designer. In 2016, Deniz joined Charity Network as a digital designer, responsible for designing various platforms and marketing materials. In 2019, they worked as a visual designer at Blenderbox, Inc. and in 2020, they became the lead UI/UX designer at Allurion Technologies. Deniz's most recent position is at Brightside Health, where they worked as a senior product designer before being promoted to lead product designer in 2023. Throughout their career, they have also freelanced as a visual designer and illustrator, working on various projects for clients such as Atolye Istanbul, Element Farms, and Bank of America.

Deniz Ayaz holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Illustration from Parsons School of Design - The New School. Additionally, they have pursued Continuing Education in Graphic Design & Typography at the School of Visual Arts. Deniz also possesses several certifications, including "UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" from Coursera, "Code of Conduct: Healthcare" from Traliant, and "Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Certificate" from the Mindfulness Institute Turkey. They have also completed a Continuing Education program in Typography and Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts.
