Omar Padia

Omar Padia is a skilled mining engineer with extensive experience across various companies in the resources sector. Currently serving as a Senior Mining Engineer at Brightstar Resources since August 2024, Omar previously held the position of Long Term Mine Planning Engineer at Talison Lithium from April 2023 to August 2024. Omar's expertise includes mine scheduling, pit and infrastructure design, and managing conflicting priorities within mine plans, gained through roles at Calidus Resources Limited and Iron Mine Contracting, where responsibilities included development of short and medium-term plans. Omar's career began at Hanson as a Graduate Engineer, progressing to a Mining Engineer while also completing a student internship at Enerflex Ltd.
