Tom Kooiman is an experienced professional in business development and marketing, currently serving as Director of Business Development for the Western US region at Brinkmann Constructors since May 2011, where responsibilities include fostering long-term relationships across various sectors such as Healthcare and Education. Previously, Tom held the position of VP of Business Development at Tandem Enterprises from August 2007 to May 2011, overseeing strategic and tactical objectives. Before that, Tom was VP of Strategic Accounts at Benchmark Electronics for a brief period following the acquisition of Pemstar Inc., where Tom served as SVP/VP of Sales and Marketing from 2000 to 2007, focusing on global marketing and sales strategies. Tom Kooiman began a successful career as President of HighTek Products, Inc. from 1985 to 2000, leading a manufacturing services sales group across multiple states and internationally. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, obtained between 1976 and 1981.
