Yongliang Sun

Yongliang "Steve" Sun is an accomplished expert in translational sciences and diagnostics with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Director of Translational Sciences and Diagnostics at Bristol Myers Squibb since May 2015, Yongliang manages a team focused on the development of innovative flow cytometry-based clinical biomarker assays and participates in the authorship of key regulatory documents for clinical trials in immuno-oncology, hematology, and immunology. Prior to this role, Yongliang held senior positions at Pfizer, Roche, and Merck, where responsibilities included the design and validation of biomarker assays and the advancement of drug development programs. Yongliang holds a postdoctoral degree in Immunology from the University of Toronto and an MD in Immunology and Infectious Diseases from Zhejiang University.
