Yu Pu

Yu (Elaine) Pu is an experienced professional in pharmaceutical preformulation, formulation, and process development, currently serving as Associate Scientific Director at Bristol Myers Squibb since August 2020. Prior to this role, Yu held the position of Senior Principal Engineer at Celgene from April 2014 to August 2020 and Principal Engineer at Merck from October 2009 to April 2014, where key contributions included leading formulation development for inhalation delivery and enhancing product value through novel technologies. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute, focused on nasal and inhalation drug products. Yu holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MS in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
