Christopher Smith

Christopher Smith has a diverse work experience history. Christopher currently works as the BI Technical Lead at Brit Insurance since June 2019. Prior to this, they took a career break and studied at Dataquest.io from August 2018 to May 2019. Christopher also worked as a Data Manager at Pen Underwriting UK from July 2017 to July 2018. Before that, Christopher worked at Deloitte from August 2010 to July 2016, starting as an Analyst and progressing to the roles of Consultant and Senior Consultant. Christopher also worked as a Technical Consultant at Acuate Software Ltd from November 2009 to June 2010 and had an internship as a Desktop Support Analyst at BlackRock from June 2007 to June 2008.

Christopher Smith attended Brunel University London from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a First Class (BSc) degree in Business Management & Computing. Before attending university, they completed their secondary education at Vyners School in Ickenham from 1998 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Christopher has obtained various certifications, including the ISEB Diplomas in Business Analysis and Solution Development from BCS in 2011, and CIMA Certificates in Fundamentals of Management Accounting and Fundamentals of Business Mathematics in 2010. Christopher has also completed several Dataquest E-Learning courses in topics such as APIs and Web Scraping, Command Line, Machine Learning Fundamentals, Natural Language Processing, Data Cleaning, Exploratory Data Visualization, Pandas and NumPy Fundamentals, SQL Fundamentals, Storytelling Through Data Visualization, Python Programming (Beginner and Intermediate).
