Jake Hendy

Jake Hendy is an accomplished Principal Cloud Engineer currently employed at British Airways since July 2025, with prior experience at IAG GBS in similar roles from May 2022 to July 2025, as well as extensive experience at the Met Office from September 2013 to May 2022, where responsibilities included architecting and implementing scalable cloud platforms and APIs. Notably, Jake Hendy has designed systems capable of processing over 1 billion events annually, significantly enhancing data delivery and cost efficiency. Jake Hendy began a career at Thomson Reuters as an intern in 2012, collaborating with global teams to develop disaster recovery portals and documentation.
