Ian Borthwick has a strong background in publishing, particularly in the areas of IT, engineering, and environmental technology. Ian has worked for various organizations such as BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, iText Limited, Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Elsevier, IWA Publishing, and LBM Direct Marketing Ltd. In their roles, they have served as a Head of Publishing, Director, Portfolio Development Manager, Commissioning Editor, Publications Co-ordinator, and Publishing Assistant. Ian has extensive experience in commissioning and producing books, journals, magazines, and other educational resources in both print and digital formats. Ian has also worked with expert committees and working groups to develop technical standards and compliance products. Ian is skilled in research, project management, editorial development, and customer service support.
Ian Borthwick completed their Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Philosophy and Mathematics from the University of Bristol from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended St Benedict's School in Ealing from 1983 to 1997.
