Stephen Brown

Stephen Brown currently serves as the Strategy & Operations Director at British Cycling, where responsibilities include overseeing transformation initiatives, customer base analysis, communication strategy refinement, and digital platform upgrades, among others. Previously, Stephen founded Two Four Six Sports, a consultancy aiding major events in project delivery, and held the role of Interim Chief Operating Officer for UK Sport during the European Athletics Championships 2026 initiative. Notable past positions include Chief Operating Officer for Rugby League World Cup 2021, where strategic leadership encompassed all operational facets, and various roles at The Rugby Football League and The Football Association, focusing on project management and event delivery. Stephen holds a BA in Recreation Management from Sheffield Hallam University.
