Eric Topham is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science, AI, and ecology. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of OctaiPipe since November 2016, Eric leads the development of trustworthy AI for IoT. Additionally, Eric is a member of the AI Council for the British Interactive Media Association. Previous roles include Chief Scientist at Get-Optimal.com and ai.market, where Eric focused on deep learning platforms and ethical data sharing, respectively. Eric's early career involved data science consulting, including significant contributions to the NHS and the London Ambulance Service. Academically, Eric holds a DPhil in Zoology from the University of Oxford and has served as a teaching assistant at both Imperial College London and Oxford.

We have longevity: We were founded in 1985 and are proud that we were the first digital industry body anywhere in the world. Our strength is our diversity: We believe in the power of community. Most of our members are agencies with a strong digital focus. However anyone in the industry can join BIMA and we have consultants, suppliers, academic institutions and others within our membership. We are also extending our offering to provide greater benefit to digital teams at brands and to tech startups.
