Chris Farrell

Head Of Community at British Rowing

Chris Farrell has extensive experience in sports and community development, currently serving as a Trustee at SWIPE Slough, which supports education and training initiatives for at-risk youth. As an Advisory Committee Member for Rowing at Virtus: World Intellectual Impairment Sport, Chris works to enhance opportunities for individuals with intellectual impairments to compete at elite levels. In the role of Head of Community at British Rowing since 2012, Chris is responsible for engaging various stakeholders and fostering community growth across the rowing landscape. Previous positions include Project Manager for Indoor Rowing, Strategic Area Project Officer, and Participation Manager for the Eastern Region at British Rowing, as well as a Sports and Community Development Officer for West Lindsey District Council, where Chris managed health and sports initiatives. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Development and Coaching from the University of Lincoln.
