Laura Carton is an accomplished Major Events Manager with extensive experience in the triathlon and sports event management sector, currently working with the British Triathlon Federation since November 2017. Notable accomplishments include serving as Race Director for the 2023 World Triathlon Para Series Swansea and the 2022 British Triathlon Super Series Grand Final. Previously, Laura held event management roles at Race ME and the Limerick World Club Sevens, overseeing major international sporting events and leading diverse teams. Laura's background also includes physiotherapy, having worked with the Health Service Executive and Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre, further enhanced by a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from The University of Huddersfield.

British Triathlon is a Federation, whose members are the Home Nation's Associations of Triathlon England, Triathlon Scotland and Welsh Triathlon. British Triathlon is responsible for matters such as the Great Britain Elite, Paratriathlon and Age-Group Teams, British and International events, Anti-Doping and International Representation.
