Sunny Y.

Sunny Y. has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and IT. Starting in 2016, Sunny worked as an IT System Administrator Student Worker at Dallas Baptist University. In this role, Sunny was responsible for enhancing web applications and SQL databases' security measures by migrating them to Microsoft Azure and integrating them with Microsoft Azure's Managed Service Identity (MSI), Key Vault, and REST API. Sunny also completed tasks such as migrating server software, automating processes through PowerShell scripts, and troubleshooting various IT issues. This position spanned from September 2017 to May 2020.

In 2019, Sunny joined Broadleaf Commerce as a Software Engineer Intern. Here, Sunny gained practical experience in software engineering while working on various development projects.

Sunny continued their journey with Broadleaf Commerce in 2020, initially as a Software Engineer. Sunny then progressed to the position of Solutions Engineer, where they provided technical solutions and expertise to clients. Currently, Sunny holds the role of Senior Solutions Engineer, contributing valuable insights and solutions to the team.

Throughout their career, Sunny has demonstrated a strong technical skill set and a dedication to ensuring the smooth operation of technology within organizations.

Sunny Y. completed their high school education at Central Texas Christian School from 2013 to 2016, earning a High School Diploma. They then pursued higher education at Dallas Baptist University from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Sunny Y. also obtained two additional certifications in 2023 related to Enterprise Design Thinking from IBM: "Enterprise Design Thinking - Team Essentials for AI" and "Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner."
