Miguel Vasquez-Lavado is an Operating Partner and Principal at Broadtree Partners. Prior to joining Broadtree, Miguel headed the business development strategy for an aviation technology firm forming part of The Carlyle Group’s portfolio. He has deep experience in launching new technology and solutions in new markets. He developed the company’s successful strategy in Latin America including initiating a successful business start-up in Brazil.
An engineer by education, Miguel has deep technical and operational experience that underline his entrepreneurial, sales, and marketing track record in the technology and manufacturing sectors.
Miguel holds a BS in Engineering from The California State Polytechnic University, a Master’s degree in Engineering from Northwestern University, and an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management with a concentration in Finance and General Management.
