Alan Nonis has a diverse work experience in various roles. Alan began their career as a Controls Engineer at Brock Solutions in February 1999 and later transitioned to the role of Project Manager. Alan then took on the position of Senior Project Manager, where they managed large and complex projects. Alan also worked as a Principal Technical Consultant, developing innovative solutions for customers in the MES and operational space. Alan played a key role in scaling the Core Development Team from 5 to 65 people and setting up processes for product development. Currently, Alan is the SmartSuite Software Development Director at Brock Solutions, leading a team of approximately 65 members and providing strategic advice for the overall execution and operations of the SmartSuite software. Prior to their time at Brock Solutions, Alan worked as a Database Application Developer at Footmaxx, where they developed an integrated back-end application for managing customer orders, tracking orders through manufacturing operations, and billing and invoicing customers.
Alan Nonis completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Toronto, from 1994 to 1998.
