James Marchese

James Marchese is an accomplished clarinettist and educator currently freelancing since January 2023, alongside a long-standing role as a carer since January 2011. Prior to these endeavors, James Marchese had an extensive career at Goldman Sachs from August 2000 to April 2023, holding several senior positions including Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer for Global FICC Operations, as well as leading roles in commodities, currency operations, and Moscow Operations. James Marchese's educational background includes a BSc (Hons) in Physics from Imperial College London, a BSc (Hons) in Music from the Royal College of Music, and a DPhil in Experimental Astroparticle Physics from the University of Oxford, complemented by a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music in Clarinet Performance.
