Don Pflaster has a long and varied work experience. Don began their career in 1997 as a Senior Engineer at IRI, a marketing research company for the Consumer Product Goods industry. In 2012, they moved to TicketEvolution as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked with Ruby on Rails and Postgres. In 2014, they became a Senior Software Consultant at BuildingBlok, and then in 2015 they were hired as a Principal Software Engineer of BuildingBlok Solutions at The Blue Book Building & Construction Network. Later that year, they moved to Event Ticket Sales, LLC as a Senior Software Engineer, where they built a new purchasing application in the experimental Phoenix Framework. In 2017, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Seat Scouts, heading up the creation of a new suite of tools for the ticket industry. Finally, in 2021, they joined Automatiq as a Principal Software Engineer.

Don Pflaster obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida in 1997. In 2012, they obtained the certification Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1 from Coursera.
