Arlene Mukoko

Arlene Mukoko is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in broadcasting and reporting. Currently serving as a General Assignment Reporter at BronxNet Community Television since February 2009, Mukoko has played a pivotal role in covering the resurgence of the Bronx economy, noting a decrease in unemployment from approximately 15% in 2010 to 5.7% today. Mukoko's previous roles include freelance Broadcast Reporter for News 12 Networks, Assistant Press Secretary for Bronx Borough President Fernando Ferrer, where significant media coverage of the Bronx’s economic growth was generated, and Broadcast Television Reporter for NY1 News. Mukoko holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications-Liberal Studies from Purchase College, SUNY, and also attended Marymount Manhattan College.
