John Putnam is a seasoned Territory Sales Manager at United Rentals since July 2019, responsible for servicing the northern portion of Wisconsin and addressing customer challenges related to productivity and safety. Previously, John held roles as an Inside Sales Representative focused on Power & HVAC and as a Sales Associate. In addition to a successful sales career, John serves as an Assistant Track and Field Coach at Brookfield Academy, mentoring young athletes and instilling valuable life skills through sports. John is also an Eagle Scout, having achieved this rank with the Boy Scouts of America. As a former student athlete, John competed as a Javelin thrower for Auburn University's Track and Field team while earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Auburn University between 2015 and 2019.
