Kathy Sarpash

Kathy Sarpash is a legal and regulatory expert with extensive experience in asset management and corporate governance. Currently serving as Managing Director, Legal & Regulatory at Brookfield Asset Management since November 2018, Kathy has progressed through various senior roles within the organization, including Senior Vice President and Vice President. Prior to this, Kathy was Vice President Legal, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at NEI Investments and held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Scotiabank. Kathy began their career at DundeeWealth Inc, where roles included Legal Counsel and Articling Student, and also worked as a Student Coordinator at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP. Educational qualifications include an LL.B. from The University of Sheffield and a B.A. Hons. in Political Science & European Studies from the University of Toronto, along with academic experience from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School.
