Jane Wiewel is an experienced surgical technologist and educator currently serving as an Instructor and Clinical Coordinator of Surgical Technology at Brookline College since September 2023. In this role, Jane oversees both academic instruction and clinical coordination for surgical technology students, facilitating their transition to externship opportunities. Previous to this position, Jane worked as a Certified Surgical Technologist at institutions such as University of California, San Diego Health and San Juan Regional Medical Center. Jane's extensive background includes significant experience in surgical settings, specifically in endoscopy and labor and delivery. Jane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix and an Associate of Science degree in Surgical Technology from Elgin Community College, among other educational credentials.
