Alice Stryker

Alice Stryker currently serves as the AVP of Advancement at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Previously, Alice founded and led Simple Gifts Philanthropy, providing actionable solutions for nonprofits to enhance revenue and philanthropy culture. Experience includes roles such as Director of Individual Giving at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, where efforts focused on securing donations for various operational needs, and Director of Grants and Sponsorships at the Museum of the City of New York, collaborating on funding for restricted projects. Additional positions held include Development Director at The Drawing Center and Director of Development at AIA New York | Center for Architecture. Alice's early career involved roles at the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture, The George Washington University, and the Bronx African American History Project. Education includes an MA in Museum Studies and a BA in History and American Studies from Fordham University.
