Rebecca Bliss has a diverse work experience in the dance and teaching industry. Rebecca started their career in 2010 as an Adjunct Lecturer at Barnard College. In 2015, they joined Brooklyn Academy of Music as a Teaching Artist. Alongside their employment, they worked as a freelance Dance Teacher, Performer, and Choreographer specializing in Afro-Cuban, Salsa, and Contemporary Dance since 2000. In 2018, they became a Dance Ensemble Teacher at City School of the Arts. From 2015 to 2019, they also worked as a Teacher of Modern Afro-Cuban Dance at Ballet Hispanico. Additionally, they served as a Teaching Artist for D-wave in Motion at Dancewave from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Teacher of Afro-Cuban Dance at Ballet Hispanico.
