Brendan Crain is an accomplished program manager and content strategist with extensive experience in cultural and community-focused initiatives. Currently, at the Brooklyn Public Library, Brendan leads the NYC Culture Pass program, facilitating over $5 million in free access to the arts for library cardholders through a collaboration with multiple public libraries and cultural organizations. Previous roles include Director of Content at ThoughtMatter, where Brendan developed messaging strategies for cultural brands, and Program Director at Open House New York, overseeing one of the largest design festivals in the U.S. Brendan's background also includes positions at Project for Public Spaces, the U.S. Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, and the Institute for Urban Design, contributing to various public engagement and urban design efforts.
