Managing Environmental Scientist at Brown and Caldwell

Clifton Bell is a seasoned environmental scientist with over three decades of experience in water quality and watershed management. Currently serving as the Managing Environmental Scientist at Brown and Caldwell since March 2012, Clifton leads numerous water quality improvement projects across more than 15 states. Prior to this role, Clifton was an Associate at ARCADIS from 1997 to 2012, managing various environmental projects, including significant contributions to the Chesapeake Bay TMDL program. Earlier in the career, Clifton worked as a Hydrologist for the U.S. Geological Survey, focusing on hydrologic water quality studies in the mid-Atlantic, notably as the project chief of the Chesapeake Bay Program River Input Monitoring Program. Clifton holds a Master of Science in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from William & Mary.
