Brian McGuire

Brian McGuire has a diverse work experience. Brian currently works as a Policy Director at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck since April 2020. Brian previously worked as the Chief Speechwriter and Deputy Communications Director for U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell from January 2007 to November 2014.

Before entering politics, McGuire served as the Chief Speechwriter at the Department of Housing and Urban Development from February 2006 to January 2007. Brian began their career as a Reporter and Columnist at The New York Sun from January 2005 to January 2006.

Brian McGuire attended St. John's College from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Dallas and completed their Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from 1996 to 1999. Later on, from 2000 to 2002, Brian attended Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, earning a Master of Science degree in Journalism.
