Jon Towers

Jon Towers has extensive work experience in legislative policy and advocacy, specifically in the field of veterans' affairs. Jon most recently served as a Policy Director at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at the Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs from January 2021 to April 2023. Before that, Jon was the Staff Director at the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs from October 2013 to January 2021, and the Deputy Staff Director from February 2011 to September 2013. Jon began their career in the Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs, starting as a Professional Staff Member/Senior Policy Advisor in June 1997 and serving in that role until February 2011.

Jon Towers attended West Virginia Wesleyan College from 1992 to 1993, where they studied Political Science and Government. Jon then transferred to William & Mary and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from 1994 to 1996.
