André Yai

André Yai is an accomplished machine learning professional with extensive experience in leading data science initiatives across various sectors, including healthcare and banking. Currently serving as the Lead Machine Learning Engineer at BRQ Digital Solutions, André has successfully delivered machine learning solutions and implemented a cloud-native ML platform for over 30 projects. Previously, as a Senior MLOps Engineer, André led the migration of numerous data science projects to the cloud and improved CI/CD pipelines. During a tenure at Semantix Brasil, André managed a team of data scientists, integrating big data solutions with chatbots and enhancing customer support functionality. André's foundational experience includes roles in data engineering and software development at companies such as Icaro Tech and Scipopulis, and a teaching assistantship at the University of São Paulo. Holding an MBA in Data Science & Analytics from USP/Esalq and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universidade de São Paulo, André continues to expand knowledge through ongoing education at Udacity.
