Alicia Garcia-Herrero is a prominent economist currently serving as Chief Economist for Asia Pacific at NATIXIS since June 2015. In addition to this role, Alicia holds positions as a Senior Research Fellow at Bruegel, Research Fellow at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's Institute for Emerging Market Studies, and Adjunct Professor at National Sun Yat-sen University. Other notable affiliations include Non-resident Senior Fellow at the East Asian Institute, Advisory Board Member for the Bachelor of Social Sciences in Global Economics and Banking Programme at Lingnan University, Independent Board Member at Ageas Group, Council Member at the Focused Ultrasound Foundation, and Member of the Scientific Council at the Elcano Royal Institute. Alicia's extensive educational background includes a Ph.D. in Economics from The George Washington University, alongside various degrees in economics and philosophy from esteemed institutions.
