Sumeet Desai

Sumeet joined Brunswick in London in February 2015 combining expertise in public affairs, media and crisis communications.

He was previously Head of Public Affairs and Research at the Royal Bank of Scotland, running government relations for the group globally and managing a series of high-profile reputational crises. Before that, he was a political and economics journalist at Reuters, reporting from more than 30 datelines around the world and leading coverage of Number 10, HM Treasury and the Bank of England during the financial crisis. He is the co-author of What You Need To Know About Economics, a popular textbook translated into Chinese, Korean, Arabic and Portuguese.
