Steve J. is a seasoned Senior Data Scientist currently employed at BST Global since September 2019. Prior to this, Steve held the position of VP of Engineering at Hipposcan Intelligence for a short duration in mid-2019. From June 2003 to May 2019, Steve amassed significant experience as a Senior Data Scientist at FedEx, where notable achievements included identifying new customers in the healthcare sector and leading initiatives to implement data science within the organization. Earlier roles included being a Scientist at Hewlett Packard from 1998 to 2003, where Steve led the development of a machine learning-enabled search engine, and a Member of Technical Staff at Inpart from 1997 to 1998, responsible for the creation of a flagship web application. Steve holds an MBA from The University of Memphis, a Master’s in Computer Science from Arkansas State University, and a Master of Science in Mathematics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
