Nigel Wain

Nigel Wain is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in database design and development, particularly in Oracle and Java technologies. Currently serving as a Specialist Software Engineer and Senior Designer at BT since 2010, Nigel is actively involved in the 'Harlequins' outsourcing project, focusing on the migration of broadband customers. Previous roles include Director of SevenTwenty.Net Ltd, where Nigel established a wireless broadband network for rural communities, and Senior Database Designer/Developer at Orange. Additionally, Nigel has held positions at Palm Software Ltd as Owner of a software consultancy, and as an Oracle Developer/DBA at Totalise plc. An academic background includes an MSc in Knowledge-Based Systems from Heriot-Watt University and a BSc in Agricultural Science from the University of Nottingham.
