Carlo Diego Alves

Carlo Diego Alves serves as the Head Atuarial/Controller at BTG Pactual since November 2019, leveraging extensive experience in the actuarial field. Previously, Carlo held the position of Atuário Responsável Técnico at AXA no Brasil from January 2016 to November 2019, where responsibilities included the implementation and development of actuarial activities and managing the transition of these activities during the acquisition of Sulamerica Seguros Gerais. Carlo's career also includes significant roles at Banco Santander, overseeing actuarial pricing and asset-liability management, and as an Atuario Senior at Omint, where Carlo was responsible for technical reserves and pricing methodologies. With foundational experience as an analyst at BrasilPrev and Yasuda, Carlo holds degrees in Actuarial Science and Financial Management from PUC and FIPECAFI - USP.
