Juan Rafael Perez Velez

Juan Rafael Perez Velez is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in the investment banking and asset management sectors. Currently serving as the CEO for Colombia at BTG Pactual since June 2012, Juan Rafael has also held key roles as Head of Client Businesses and Asset Management, and Head of Wealth Management/Equity Sales at the same institution. Additionally, Juan Rafael is a board member at Visum Capital Colombia and has been a member of the Governing Council of the Bolsa de Valores de Colombia S.A. until December 2023. Previous experience includes partnership at Bolsa y Renta S.A. and managerial positions at Bancolombia, where responsibilities encompassed portfolio administration and international investments. Educated with a Master of Finance from Rotterdam School of Management and an Executive Leadership Program from Harvard Business School, Juan Rafael holds a degree in Administration Engineering from Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia.
