Jim Buchanan

Founded as CSSI: Computer Support Services in 1988, in a small suburb of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metropolitan area, Jim has grown the company through smart technology advancements, business acquisitions and strong people management. CSSI became Buchanan Associates in 2000 and then officially became Buchanan Technologies in 2009. Jim currently serves as Buchanan’s Chief Executive Officer, where he is responsible for strategy, sales, and operational delivery for the organization. Jim is a seven-year veteran of Vistage and a twelve-year veteran of SIM (Society of Information Managers). His certifications include AT&T System V Engineering, Novell CNE, Microsoft MCSE, and ITIL 3.0. Jim also has experience in enterprise data center management, virtualization, switching, routing, and storage technologies.
