Andrew James serves as Partner and Head of the Private Client South West Group at Buckles Solicitors LLP, a role commenced in October 2023. Additionally, since October 2020, Andrew has been a Partner at Axiom DWFM, leading the South West Private Client Department, which specializes in services such as Wills advice, Lasting Powers of Attorney, probate and estate administration, trust management, and Inheritance Tax planning. Previous experience includes serving as Director and Head of Private Client at Echelon Law, where Andrew managed the Private Client Department from October 2020 to September 2022, as well as roles at Redkite Solicitors and Cook & Co Solicitors. Andrew began a legal career as a Trainee Solicitor with Co-op Legal Services, following a background that included a position as a Junior Officer with CMA CGM. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law.
