Jana L. Mohammed M.ed.

Jana L. Mohammed M.Ed. currently serves as the Assistant Head of Middle School, Dean of Students for grades 6-8, and Admissions Counselor at The Buckley School, a position held since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Principal at Citizens of the World Los Angeles and Middle School Assistant Principal at Summit Academy Charter School. Additionally, Jana has worked as a School Improvement Specialist and Interim Principal, and has extensive experience as an English teacher. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Manhattan University, a Bachelor's in English Language and Literature from Albion College, multiple certifications in school leadership from NJEXCEL, and a Montessori Teacher Education Credential from Chesnut Hill College. Contributions to school communities include developing support initiatives for military families and facilitating programs promoting compassion and service among staff and students.
